Located approximately 12–15 km from Urakam Ayur Village Resort, Vadakkumnathan Temple is one of Kerala's oldest and most revered Shiva temples. Situated at the center of Thrissur city within the sprawling Thekkinkadu Maidan, the temple is considered the cultural and spiritual landmark of Thrissur.
The temple is believed to be more than a thousand years old and is associated with the legend of Lord Parashurama, who is said to have established it. Built in the traditional Kerala architectural style, the temple is renowned for its magnificent wooden carvings, ancient murals, stone structures, and sacred atmosphere.
Located just a few kilometers from Urakam Ayur Village Resort, Arattupuzha is one of Kerala's most historically and culturally significant villages.
